If that doesn't work, try running this It worked great for me. If it does work for you too, you may need to re-run it one time for each USB port you have. Once you do it for each port, you shouldn't need to do it again. THESE FIXES REQUIRE INTERNET CONNECTION FOR THE PROBLEM COMPUTER HOW CAN I GET THE NEED FIX ON ANOTHER COMPUTER (XP) AND COPY IT TO THE WIN 7 ONE SO I CAN USE USB 802.11N ADAPTER?? None of the posts in this thread will actually 'fix' anything. If you have a problem, please ask your own new question giving enough detail so that a potential helper will have enough information to diagnose your problem. Please read these: In general, if you need to download a file (for example, a driver) for a computer that is unable to connect to the Internet, use another computer that is able to connect (for example, the computer you're using to ask questions here) to download the file. Then copy the file to a USB flash drive or burn it to a CD or DVD.
Then take that flash drive, CD, or DVD to the problem computer. LemP Volunteer Moderator MS MVP (Windows Desktop Experience) 2006-2009 Microsoft Community Contributor (MCC) 2011-2012.
